Mesut Ozil rescued a point for Real Madrid with a late free-kick in an entertaining 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund at the Santiago Bernabeu, which keeps both clubs in the qualifying positions in Group D.

Jose Mourinho and his Madrid men had to twice come from a goal down to draw level and earn themselves what could become a vital point, especially because the two teams below them in the group, Manchester City and Ajax, both failed to capitalise, with their game also ending in a 2-2 draw after an enthralling contest.
