In an interview with Qatar Alkass Leo stressed the qualities of the Santos striker: “I don’t know if he’ll sign with Barca or not, only he knows that. What is certain is that he would be a player who brings some very different individual solutions. Of course for Barca it would be a wonderful addition. ”
Once again he mentioned his national team career with Argentina and his desire to be world champion. “All I want is to win, without thinking whether it will allow me to be the best player ever or not.”
Leo believes Guardiola will prove his worth at Bayern: “He’ll have success with any team, because of his understanding and knack for reading football games.”
Leo Messi is already in Qatar. After celbrating the league title, the Argentinian star traveled to Doha, where he will participate in various publicity events. In a small press conference he summed up the season by saying that “winning the league is very good even though the goal is always to win it all.”

Lio Messi feels Barcelona shouldn’t tear up the team too much, considering they’ve just finished winning their 22nd La Liga title. “I think it is a very important title due to what the Spanish League means and the rivals that we have, such as Real Madrid for example which is one of the best sides in the world”, he said on Azteca Television.

After undergoing extensive tests on his right hamstring, Lionel Messi looks likely to miss the remainder of FC Barcelona’s schedule. The newly crowned La Liga title owners had feared as much, after Messi had been in and out of the lineup since sustaining the injury against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Barcelona forward had the tests on Tuesday, and the damage revealed has him set to miss 2-3 weeks. Shutting him down for the season makes sense for all parties, as Barcelona already have the title and Argentina’s national squad will look to have Messi ready for qualifiers in June.
Lio has capped off another great season, scoring 46 goals in La Liga, just four short of the record he set last year. Barcelona finishes up the season with an away match against Espanyol sandwiched between home stints with Valladolid and Málaga.
Fresh off being crowned La Liga champions, Barcelona seemed to come out to the Vicente Calderon on a bit of a hangover. But despite using three substitutions and a slight injury to Lionel Messi, the Blaugrana were able to walk away with the win, after an own goal by Atletico late.
Radamel Falcao scored from 10 yards out in the 51st minute after a breakdown in Barca’s defense. Alexis Sanchez was able to respond in the 72nd, striking the ball into the net after a neat connection with teammate Cesc Fabregas. Gabi’s own goal came just 8 minutes later.
The win by Barca gives them 3 more points in the standings, putting them at 91 points to date. The Catalans will certainly be looking to tie Real Madrid’s record 100 points from last year with 3 wins to close the season.
