Pep Guardiola will not begin talking to clubs about a potential managerial role until January, claims the former Barcelona coach’s agent.
Guardiola’s name has been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs, including Premier League giants Manchester City and Chelsea, and also Italy’s AC Milan.
The successful manager’s representatives were forced to deny that the fact that Guardiola’s brother being spotted in Milan had any story behind it, playing down its significance in the tactician’s future planning.
The man who led Barcelona to a cabinet full of trophies is thought to be leaving any decisions regarding his future in football until the start of next year.
Guardiola’s spokesperson, Josep Maria Orobitg, commented, saying: “I want to clarify one thing, Pep will not talk with anyone until January.
“He does not want to know anything about the future, nor about Chelsea, City, Paris Saint Germain, Milan or Roma.
“Neither (does he want to know) about Chile, Brazil and all the national teams the press have done during this period. He is now in New York and he wants a free mind.”
