Sevilla continues to comb the market for midfielder’s after failing to Cata Díaz a signing that seemed to be a certainty but made a last minute surprise move to Athletic Madrid.
Two new players that finish contract and are on the Sevillian agenda are looking poised to make moves to clubs within the Premier League.
The two men in question are Tomás Sivok and Carlos Cuéllar. Tomás came to light after his agent confirmed contacts with the Sevilla. The footballer is liked very much by the Technical Office at the club, but in the last few hours there seems to be possibilities that this contract could break down in favour of a move to the London side Fulham who are offering a much higher wage. The head office of Besiktas remain open, but the English club arrive at the door with a million and a half euro’s net per season. In fact, the president has placed a salary stop that does not surpass the million euro mark for players that put on file this year at Sevilla. Therefore, some options are likely to escape.
