Drogba confirms he won’t be at Chelsea next season

didier drogbaThe Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba, who has played for Chelsea in the last eight seasons, announced Wednesday that he has signed a two and a half year deal to play at the Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.

The footballer, 34, announced his intention to leave Stamford Bridge after winning the Champions League on 19 May, in a final against Bayern Munich that gave the Russian tycoon Roman Abramovich his first taste of European glory.
