Falcao not phased by Real Madrid heading into Copa del Rey final

falcao-pressOne day before the clash between La Liga powers Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey final, Los Rojiblancos star Radamel Falcao talked about his team’s state of mind heading into the match. Falcao stated he knows Real “is favorite because of its budget and players, but we’re not bothered.”

What’s been said is of no concern to me. According to the media I’ve signed with half of Europe: Chelsea, United, Monaco, Real Madrid… There’s no truth to it. Six months after I got here there was already speculation I would be joining another club.”

“Last year they asked me the same thing in Bucarest, whether it would be my last big game with Atleti, and guess what? I’m still here.” “The more finals you play the more you enjoy them. All I’m concerned about is playing well and doing my best for the team, and we’ll see what happens.”

Falcao heads into the match with 28 goals in La Liga.
