Cristiano Ronaldo: the king of European goals

Cristiano Ronlado is sitting pretty at the top of the goalscorer charts, not only in Spain, but across all of the top leagues in Europe. The Portuguese superstar has notched up 16 goals in all competitions this season, with an average of more than one per game, which makes him highest scorer of all major European leagues in Italy, Spain, England, France and Germany.

Real Madrid have played eight games in the Spanish La Liga championship, in which Ronaldo has scored nine goals. In the Champions League he is top of the table with five goals in three games.

CR7 will try to keep his streak going and remain seated on his throne, as Lionel Messi follows closely with 15 goals in all competitions this season. Chasing the two men considered to be fighting it out for the best player in the world is Radamel Falcao, who is forcing the world class strikers to keep looking over their shoulders with his 12 goals this season.
